City hall would look so much better with newer glass that was more transparent. Also that concrete on the NE corner looks like a bunker.

Totally agree. If they reclad city hall in a clear glass and fixed up the street scape (especially out front in the plaza) it would be a huge help. I like the shape of city hall (giant steps) it just needs a big overhaul.

Great pic! I like the massing of these two buildings next to each other. Maybe a hailstorm will damage the City Hall‘s glass someday and we can get something better.

My only real complain about the Municipal Building is that the street level is fairly cold and has nothing for the public. The building itself isn't bad, and I think it contrasts nicely with the Library in that pic.

I really think this is the perfect opportunity for Bow Valley College to grab it and expand their campus. Increase more programs and more room for enrolment. Then Calgary can actually have a proper large institution in place to grow its youth vibrancy in the Core.
