New tower in the Beltline!

Edit: LOVE those Japanese windows!
This project, first identified by @IceCreamMan now has a DP submitted, so I thought I would create a thread for it:

Love this.

More proposals. More construction!

MOAR!!

It is so Japanese! i really want to see this happen I am just baffled this project could work financially.
I'd like to see hundreds more of this scale built around the city. A street with a collection of slim profile buildings of varying height is always nice. Like the older buildings on 9th ave in Inglewood. I wish a few buildings like this were being squeezed into EV rather than the block sized podiums.

This is 18 5 bedroom units. Weird. I can't figure out who this is geared towards, they are saying multi-generational families, but the bedrooms all of ensuite washrooms like mini hotels. Feels more like an AirBnB hostel situation, because how much would one of these cost to rent or buy for a family?
