Oliver? I think they mixed up the Beltline with Edmonton's Oliver. I suppose the two are analogous, but the Beltline is far and away superior.


Edit: Oh I see, the project is named Oliver now. Weird.

Nah, I've lived in cities in Ontario where it's only street names instead of numbers, its so confusing figuring out where you are or where to go, especially if you're not familiar with the city. Lots of them are also named after some not great people, which is particularly poignant right now.

The best approach is probably to just add them as alternate names, similar to Stephen Ave / 8th Ave, and include both on the street signs.
I like that idea a lot. All the main pedestrian/retail thoroughfares should do this.

^Yep - sure do. I can picture 2 rectangular, turquoise glass clad towers but I’ve forgotten what the name was.
Very ironic those two sites
