Yeah their targeted occupancy is spring 2024 so that tracks.

I thought this what they've opted for instead.

Ah okay, I see what you are saying. The portion in the render was all constructed as part of the first phase of Park Central, the part they are building now is the tower that is just a grey box in the background of that first image.

I lived in Park Central and currently Park Point. During both tenancies, the amount of people and dates I've had say they're standing outside my building when they were at the other "Park" building is ridiculous.

There's:

-Park Point
-Park Central
-The Park Condos

...all in the same square.

It's even worse than that:
  • Park 300 (339 13 Ave SW)
  • Park Place (323 13 Ave SW)
  • The Park (303 13 Avenue SW)
  • Park Estates (220 13 Avenue SW)
  • Park Point I & II in future (310 12 Avenue SW)
  • Park Central (510 12 Avenue SW)
And all these are within Victoria Park - a neighbourhood that hasn't existed officially for 20 years, nor has ever had a park named "Victoria Park" (as far as I am aware).

I think Stampede Park was originally called Victoria Park.

thats a pleasant surprise
This is what has always been the plan for Two Park Central. It’ll be about 25 meters taller than One Park Central.
