This one is looking better with the blinds installed. The black area becomes more of a grid than one solid mass with windows going mostly white.

All i gotta say is this tower came out nicely, when I look out from floor 47 of the Telus sky, this is the only tower that pops out from the middle to the eastside of the beltline.
 
April 11 - in contrast to my previous update, almost all of the wood on the west face of the building is off.

I don't mind the little accents of yellow on this one, it helps to give it a bit more pop. Either way, I much prefer it over all the red/burgundy you see on architecture elsewhere in the city.
 
I much prefer the yellow on the balcony sections than the east and west elevations. Much cleaner looking IMO
 
I like that the yellow breaks up the monochrome. I think it's coming together really well.
 
There needs to be more yellow on the tower to tie it all in, it just looks like something thrown on after the fact to me.
 
Sure I can kinda get that. They should have made those spandrel panes more goldenrod rather than canary. They're hardly noticeable as yellow. I still like it, criticism notwithstanding.
