Definitely not the best update, but might as well post it as it from a different angle. Picture taken yesterday evening:

I'm glad the semi-random pattern was contained to a small area.
Exactly. I expected the pixelation to look like crap, but it's actually pretty decent. It's nice that one of the pixelated colors is the reflective silver. If it had have been gray spandrel it might not have looked as well.
 
Your'e right, I hadn't even noticed there was a silver panel. So it's a complete success then. In photos and viewed from a distance, it and all the floor spandrel just blends into the actual glass area with reflection.

I do like the pattern on the precast panels. It's a little heavy for this application.
 
I noticed yesterday they are installing glass on the second level of the residential tower (north side). They were doing that in the evening, so I suppose we will see plenty of glass going up in the next while.
