Since we don't have the floor count of tower 2, I can't extrapolate an accurate height for it. However, at 46 floors, the approximate height of tower 3 will be 146 meters, nearly identical in height to the Guardians, to within a meter. However, assuming that tower 2 would be midway between 1 and 3 in height, at 51 floors tower 2 would be approx. 162 meters. The difference in height between all three would be 16 meters each. I feel like that is a good differential in such a tight cluster. The difference in height between the tallest and shortest will be nearly the height of the red and green towers of University City.

Tower 1 - 178 meters
Tower 2 - 162 meters
Tower 3 - 146 meters

The way I came to this conclusion is 178/56 = 3.18, therefore 3.18 X 46 = 146 and 3.18 X 51 = 162.

Hi Group,
Just for an Update, When did the Elbow River Casino Close? Knew of It, been by the Site lots of Times If the Project Ever gets off the Ground, It will B interesting to Follow, A Small Sky Line into Itself Really. Also if I Remember it Right there is a 3 Tower & Super Market going in Down by Earlton/Mcleid Tr, South. Add More to the Mix, Hope This isn't asking to much,
Tnx,

Wow - that section along MacLeod between 18th and 25th Avenues is really going to change with this and the Erlton Crossing project. Sadly - Cidex tends to V/E the crap out of their buildings, leaving Calgary with a lot of watered down design. IMO, Aura and Arch are easily the worst purpose-built rental towers from the last boom. I have a feeling the West Village towers won't be any different, especially considering the current market conditions.

Hi All.

I am Not Sure of the Merits/Designs etc of All the Projects Between 17th Ave and 25th Ave South - What Gets Blt and Won't
get Blt. It won't really Surprise Me if there are a LOT of Changes in the Final Outcomes Either, I Feel a Lot of Dvlprs are Running Scared as Well, because Projects Don.t Come Cheap, I Figure the Piggy Banks are still Choosy about giving out the Dollars for Financing, Time will Tell. Rentals? I find it Questionalble because for what they will charge Verses the Cost of Buying a Condo won't B all that Much Different, Where have We Heard that B 4? Lots of Times. Apt Rentals - Locked in for a Set Number of Years? Sounds Like It if I am Correct, I Could B Dead Wrong on This - Not Sure Really. Not Saying Yes or No. What Ever Gets Blt will have to B "Top Quallity" to Appeal to the Renters/Buyers to Make It Worth Their Values for the MONEY Being Handed Out, Just How I Look at the Over all of the Projects at Stake,
Tnx,

Just saw some renders for this one, going to be tall! design is decent, nothing to get excited about, pretty typical looking for a residential tower complex. No idea on timelines though, should have asked...

Are the renders public?? So I’m guessing the design isn’t the Dubai looking thing on page 1? Aww ... I kinda liked that one, was unique. And wasn’t a box.
I love the height on this one though. Start date??

I wonder if they've changed from the ones I saw on the permit? Three Orchard style looking towers?
Yeah pretty similar to that, very boxy and all glass.

Renders aren't public yet AFAIK. Definitely not the crazy looking renders from the front page, that iteration was a different developer about 8 years ago.

Must still be the same design then. Pretty banal, but lots of height and density. The section along the river looked interesting.

^ That's what I was thinking. I'm getting tired of the boxes. Guess we can blame the economy.
If it's still 178m, it'll be taller than The Guardian - another boxy, not particularly beautiful project liked primarily because of its height.
