I friend of mine is looking for a condo unit downtown and i know some of you own investment units. She is a very fine person, a 25 year-old nurse, and she desperately needs a safe, clean location downtown or midtown in the range of $900 - $1000 for Sep or Oct. Perhaps a junior 1 bedroom.

Any Cityplace locations for example? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Your targeted price range is probably a little low for "downtown", although no doubt you would be able to find a few possibilities. There might be better pickings in the midtown area. Several of the buildings along St. George just north of Bloor, or Spadina just north of Bloor, come to mind. They are older but mostly well kept, and the neighbourhood is a good one.

Indeed, the girlfriend's place is in the Annex (Spadina/Bloor) and she pays within that range.

Neighbourhood is safe, and the building is good.
