Personally CTs pricing model is killer to me and I avoid it because of that. Constantly having to shop sales or else you are getting completely ripped off is a non-starter for me. I'd rather go to Rona/Home Depot which has more consistent pricing.

Some of their stuff is not bad. I got a Mastercraft tool set that is built like a Brick Outhouse.

I agree w/the sentiment, but I will say, when they go heavy promo on pots and pans, the prices are industry best.

But as you note, when they are not on promo, they are among the industry worst.

They do have some more consistently priced aisles, things like cleaners/soaps, a lot of basic hardware supplies, and some auto products can be consistently priced; but discretionary/periodic purchases, its maximum mooch or great value, nothing in between.
 
Anyone line up for the new Hudson Bay stripe collection?

What's a line? Seriously, much past a 1-2 person line up, I don't do lines for pretty much anything. I can't quite figure out why people abide them.
