Once you have added the costs of all those buses having stilts I'm not sure it would be cheaper than having a dedicated bus lane. I would also be concerned with lane changes when either the bus or the car is getting off at the next exit.

Watching the video, I don't know if an unguided solution is the best idea, but if it were to use grooved rails in the street it could be a great mass transit alternative.
 
I don't think these buses would work here because our traffic lights are too high and that would cause the people driving under the bus to not be able to see if the lights turning red.
 
Somehow I have the feeling that our capitalistic unions would somehow object to something like that.

Maybe in 2034 when our Chinese emperors take over... (I'm half kidding)
