This also seemed to be new and popped up today. Titled:

One of oldest communities will be transformed in Mississauga

The source was insauga.com (By Declan FinucanePublished November 6, 2023 at 12:05 pm) and the subject matter is:

The Clarkson Transit Station Area Study is a City of Mississauga-led effort in which officials are preparing a master plan for the area surrounding Clarkson GO station in order to guide future development in the southwest Mississauga community.

Having completed a draft master plan, city officials are now seeking public feedback one last time on the nearly completed document. A virtual community meeting will take place on Nov. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is required.

I lived in Clarkson for a number of years and I am not sure I really see a lot of impact here.

Yes the sections to,the immediate south of the station become residential, but that has been talked about for years. And mirrors what has been happening on the east side of Southdown. To the north of the station, once a Canadian Tire store, those sites have been evolving for some time, and to see them slated for higher intensity housing is not a suprise.

To the east of Southdown, along the Lakeshore they are contemplating turning some strip malls property into rezones residential. And that’s about it.

This appears to be very station specific.
