Although I don't live in Toronto, just seeing the improvements the city has made to improve bike lanes over the years is very heartening. Montreal used to be miles ahead of us, and they probably still are in terms of coverage, but I used to be so amazed by the kind of bike lanes they were doing there, so it's great we don't have to be *quite* as jealous as before.

And of course, Mississauga could definitely learn something from Toronto's progress.

Concrete barriers have been installed for the NB cycling track on the Leaside bridge. Photos from a moving bus

They weren't there last night when I was going by at 8:30pm - that's some quick installation

And a view of the track. Curiously, the right side is painted as a pedestrian lane. I'm not sure why, as that's a nice wide sidewalk right beside it!
