I've said it before and I'll say it again - the City needs to eat the cost of making these out of metal. This has happened dozens of times over the past couple years, and it will continue to until they fix the obvious issue.
Sadly, the metal ones get trashed and broke up. The bus stop next to my place has a metal bin in the concrete sleeve, I end up reporting it to 311 as destroyed and needing replacement atleast twice a year.I've said it before and I'll say it again - the City needs to eat the cost of making these out of metal.
