New cantilevered metal entry canopy (like Union Bank Inn's), new main floor windows, new main door, new blade signage (like is required for Whyte Ave storefronts), as well as other miscellaneous repairs throughout building.

I'm curious as well.
Could be that Westrich proposal on 113th south of Jasper Ave (used to be at 30 storeys) now Grandin City 4. Also, there was that Greenlong proposal around there on Jasper Ave, which probably wont happen.

May have been mistaken for Grandin Tower 2 (114m) next door to Grandin 4 on 112 St.

Some valid considerations/points, but generally a position of 'may as well shut'er down and walk away, since we are proudly there to serve Calgary and others' versus ourselves and our own ambitions as a city.

The article seemed more of a "everything sucks, might as well give up, time to fade away."

The idea that "de-urbanization" is going to happen en masse is such a flimsy argument. It screams of somebody being out of touch with a large portion of the population.
