I agree 100% -- even when some become aware of their negative tone they keep on bashing or at best offer back-hand complements comparing Edmonton to how great other places are in alignment. "Off-putting" to put it mildly.

These are the same people who complain but don’t vote.

Lots around Omega are owned by long-time/well known folks who I would hope we would see want to 'city build' and develop it themselves.

Hearing Hillside Estates (Tower North and South) condo board has voted to sell the building to a company that intends to renovate into rentals. Apparently they have been courted for about 2 years, and things are not good financially with the whole parkade renovation debacle.

I went there once and am not surprised and frankly the location is also not so great. A number of nearby places on or more visible from Jasper Ave seem to do better.
