Revera sold The Churchill Retirement Community building a few months ago and the new owners are closing it. Seniors there are gutted, 1000 sq. ft. units and access to the pedway system. There's nothing in Edmonton like it.

Wow. My Baba lived there before she passed and loved the pedway access as it helped her and many other out a ton.
That's a big shame to see that happen.
Wonder if Revera will turn around and build something elsewhere?

I've always thought that small stretch of 103 Ave. has the potential to be a nice little connection between city hall/Churchill/arts district and ID. If not for the parkade entrances it would work well as a pedestrian-only street. Who owns the surface lot across from Amore? Has there ever been any indication of plans for that lot?
