I'd rather they don't if they're going to put in the same level of effort on the Emerald as we've seen here in this abomination

The renderings for the Emerald are decent, but you can't be sure of anything when it comes to the actual build. I wanna see how Holyrood Gardens turns out to judge if this was just one bad apple in the bunch (I know the whole bunch is probably spoiled but let me have my hopes k?)

Is there a courtyard on the interior of this? Just trying to picture the layout of the units.

yup, there's a courtyard that opens onto the west side of the site. it's actually pretty cool to see, very atmospheric, and the building steps back around it a bit as well; it's arguable more interesting than the outside. the opening in the middle of the East facade opens onto it as well. I'd share a picture but i don't have any sorry.
