I think it was really killed by the Oliver Community League. If they came out in support early, Council would've followed through with a final rezoning approval.Yes and no.
It was EDC approved & rezoning passed initially, but then turned down at later sessions.
Didn't get community support.
The land swap was complicated and other factors but the community was against it. They had some valid points too I would imagine.
I do hope this turns out decent.
I just think it's to bad, but it is what it is.
