And this will actually get built in the City. Rather then Sturgeon or Strath counties. What's the tax bill back to the city on something like this? 5-10Million/yr?

Another corporate give away. I’m just wondering who is going to buy all this hydrogen?

And here is another hydrogen avenue...
Of course this article refers to the production and use of "green" hydrogen" which the project in Alberta will not produce. As per the article "The ground test was conducted on an early concept demonstrator using green hydrogen created by wind and tidal power. The companies say it marks a major step towards proving that hydrogen could be a zero carbon aviation fuel of the future and is a key proof point in the decarbonisation strategies of both Rolls-Royce and easyJet." The hydrogen produced in the Air Products Edmonton facility will NOT be produced using solar, wind or sustainable water tides - and will not be sought after by companies looking for green energy source. Take for example the Elon Musk project under construction that will produce green green (clean) and one of many green hydrogen projects under construction: https://www.rechargenews.com/energy...e-clean-rocket-fuel-for-elon-musk/2-1-1178689.

@EdmTrekker the hydrogen consortia that are active in the Edmonton area are referencing "Blue" hydrogen (derived from Natural Gas) AND "Green" hydrogen (derived from plant-based material and abundant fresh water). One resource is limited -- maybe 100 years (or less) of viable production; the other is unlimited and is determinant of the "second act" in Alberta, following up on an effort to make hydrogen a viable Alberta industry long into the future and long after the oil sector has waned.

Green hydrogen is a catchy phrase so maybe Alberta should just get on board with it and call our production green hydrogen. We do have 0 emission hydrogen.
