I agree, Griesbach has taken more time. and look at it now. This is a 20 year plan. This development will be attractive to future generations. I wouldn't expect much movements in the short term.

I'm debating between purchasing a fee simple townhouse here or an older single-detached house in an established central neighbourhood right now. There are some new, completed townhouses still for sale in Blatchford with more under construction, so if you want in now it's possible.I have zero patience to offer. The rate they are going means I will be an old empty nester by the time I buy something in Blatchford. I never planned to do that so late in life, might as well look elsewhere.
Looks like there is another developer throwing their hat into the ring: Crimson Cove Homes
Based on permit applications they're building on Lot W

Only 3 dwellings? The other fee simple townhomes have like 9 units. Is this because they are making the garden suites bigger and more standalone?

New land sales map. W and Q went from pending to sold (.61 HA) and O is now pending.Map of land sales as of November. All but three plots are sold or pending (including the mixed use plot G). For those of you that are more familiar with the development process, how long should we expect until some of the "pending" plots start turning to "sold"?

That's a good question. The entire plot on the map below is marked as pending, but on the city's permit map the subplots on the right half have no pending permits. Maybe they're doing one building at a time to put more resources into getting their show home ready? But I don't know if that'd explain the staggered approach with the permit applications. Perhaps they'll see how the first one sells before finalizing the design and specs for the second one?Only 3 dwellings? The other fee simple townhomes have like 9 units. ^^^^ Unfortunately we have to wait until the current Provincial government lands with a THUD!
