Probably putting it up for sale.

ASAP cannot come soon enough. Having spent a great deal of time in the west end of that mall over the last 4 months, it is a ghost town, at best, and an absolute $#i! show more often that not. A complete embarrassment for this city.Sounds like there will be some significant news about this property coming forward ASAP.
Because of all the vacant spaces it seems fairly empty, but there are still over a dozen stores and businesses still here in the west half of the mall. Relocating all of them would be an undertaking.ASAP cannot come soon enough. Sad thinking back to it being a pretty great mall really not all that long ago.ASAP cannot come soon enough. Westrich involved?Sounds like there will be some significant news about this property coming forward ASAP.
That would be a MASSIVE undertaking for WestrichWestrich involved?![]()
It's likely a combination of manager, owner's financial resources and one of the least stable downtown office, hotel, retail and multi-res markets in Canada.I hope so. Overall, LaSalle has been incompetent when it comes to managing a downtown mall in a major Canadian city.
Another sad day for #dtyegThat would certainly qualify as "significant news", although perhaps not the development we hoped to hear...
