Oops. Here are the pictures.
Correct, the Churchill Wire Centre is a Municipal Historic Resource.Curious to see what happens in that space in the building their in. That's one of my favorites. I believe it's protected. Can't remember it's name though
In more sophisticated cities, older buildings with character like this often seem to attract upscale restaurants or retail. I hope it does not stay empty too long.
How can an intervention occur - can't DECL reach out and tell them no no.Great to see, but as with Sobeys (and Rogers Place for that matter), I hope we don't see vinyl all along 103ave.
Whether the bylaws are enforced is another story. I saw HSBC recently put up a large graphic along 101 street. I believe it goes against zoning. Who do we gotta call? There are bylaws and best practices with regards to that...
I hope some of this excessive window coverage disappears when it opens. Maybe some corporate executives think it is great to cover almost every window in what they consider advertising, but it actually is a turn off for customers and others.Great to see, but as with Sobeys (and Rogers Place for that matter), I hope we don't see vinyl all along 103ave.
