Because of drugs.Mind you, hearing from multiple sources that Loblaws is the lowest performing out there and with very significant disorder and theft issues.
Why can't we have nice things?

There’s often more security than customers in there. If it dies, oh boy…..Mind you, hearing from multiple sources that Loblaws is the lowest performing out there and with very significant disorder and theft issues.

Because we build 2 of 12 buildings and have thousands of less customers…Mind you, hearing from multiple sources that Loblaws is the lowest performing out there and with very significant disorder and theft issues.

It's fairly busy during office hours I'd say - probably the main spot my co-workers grab lunch from. But, it's definitely not as busy afterhours. We need more residential units online as that's the biggest issue I think - residential customer base. There’s often more security than customers in there. If it dies, oh boy…..
Yes, if someone bought that hotel and fixed it up that could improve things around this area a lot. I am surprised it hasn't happened yet.I like that City Market and we used to go there usually once a week to grab some quick items but the bums and creeps hanging around 103 just makes it so unpleasant to visit that we’ve opted to just walk all the way to Safeway in Unity Sq.
I’m almost surprised Katz Group et al haven’t bought the Crash Hotel building just to shut it and the liquor store down. Those two drive so much of the disorder on their doorstop.
Unfortunately the problems with downtown are both that there is not a lot of people living nearby and those that do probably do not venture out to get groceries too late because of such problems here and elsewhere. It's fairly busy during office hours I'd say - probably the main spot my co-workers grab lunch from. Also because of lack of much if any regular EPS presence in downtown Edmonton, except to respond to incidents, sometimes hours later?Because of drugs.

Oof, I hope not. I'm there at least once every couple of weeks and while it's never packed, there are enough people that I imagined it to be fairly successful. Not my experience and I'm there most everyday. Much busier than a year ago.
I would be more concerned about the Safeway on west Jasper Ave closing before this does.
