The Leston building will lease up quickly. Meanwhile, Regency will continue to sit on a lot that does nothing but harm the neighbourhood. It's frustrating.

Fun fact: 2025 marks a decade since Regency demo’d the CWB branch building here and started excavation. Darn shame Leston couldn’t pry this one out of Regency’s hands during their massive shopping spree this year.

At this point, I just wish they’d sell. I have no confidence in Regency delivering a high-quality development for this area.

We've been spared, that podium is hideous.
It does seem like there is some sort of linguistic problem, or full on brain damage behind their designs.
Call a building the pearl, give it a red hat.
Call a building the emerald, give it a rainbow podium.
Since most of their other recent projects have turned out to be aesthetic war crimes, I think it's time this group was shown the door...
