Oh, heaven forbid we should have a variety of architectural styles other than the current somewhat boring plain boxy style that is fashionable now.

Of course, in 10 years or so it will probably be no longer fashionable and people will be making disparaging remarks about it and something else will be popular.

If you have been around for a while, you can see that tastes and styles change and may appreciate the different ones from different times.

Those two projects have really done wonders for that area and transforming the parking lot into Mercury will take it to the moon.
