Here's the site as of today. It looks like they're installing the last set of girders between the bridge and the east-side landing, and the pedestrian bridge is coming alone as well. They also started working on expanding the CN underpass to accommodate two extra lanes of traffic.

It looks like the bridge is fully connected to the Fort side! There are a number of people working on the pedestrian path beneath the roadway, and work is also continuing on getting the necessary clearance underneath the CN line to extend the roadway. The final picture I am attaching was taken last October, but shows you what the Sturgeon side of the bridge currently looks like. Could this project please be added to the Edmonton area map?

Pictures taken last week. It's starting to look like a proper bridge!

Here's an older picture (from last December) showing the pedestrian bridge's ramp on Sturgeon County's side. It'll connect with their trail network along the river.
(The site office moved across the river; it used to be on the (under construction) southeast-bound road leading into Fort Sask)
Much progress has been made on expanding the CN overpass to accommodate two additional lanes of highway.

The future Fort Centre Park; soil was excavated for use on the bridge/highway twinning project, and the holes will be used as storm ponds for the park. The city saved hundreds of thousands of dollars because of this arrangement.

I drove Hwy 15 to Fort Saskatchewan - the twinning project may be completed by year end at the earliest, but I think it should be completed by next spring.

I can certainly chime in as long as that wasn't sarcasm and I don't annoy you again haha

Construction is officially scheduled to finish in fall 2022. Lots of progress has been made on the roads (the road paving on the Fort side was basically all finished when I was there in September, save for the line painting), but I do not know whether the Sturgeon-side road leading to the bridge will be paved this year, or if they're waiting until next year. They were making progress on prepping the right-of-way though, with lots of earth-moving, compacting, etc. I imagine by next spring, we'll mainly be seeing work on landscaping, trail connections to the pedestrian bridge, line painting (perhaps), and other things that weren't possible over the winter. Aside from that, maybe they'll still be finishing up with paving on the bridge (they were finishing up the concrete deck when I was last there; do they even need to pave a concrete deck?), electrical and utility work, etc. But I agree completely, they've been making great progress so far, and it's really looking like it's just about there. If they're ahead of schedule, all the better!

On another note, I wonder if Sturgeon County will make a trail linking the pedestrian bridge to their nearby path. Right now, there's just a road there.

The RVA / Sturgeon County will be connecting the underslung pedestrian bridge to the existing Lamoureux trail. I've heard it will be one of the final tasks for the project, along with the paving of Lamoureux Dr itself on the Sturgeon side.
