Hey God, it's me, the Quarters again, asking for a miracle....
He can dish out hope a lot easier with a 280m building reaching the heavens.Shouldn't it be the other way around... aren't you responsible for dishing out hope. As God, you might consider banishing the COVID scourge and then we all could have hope.
God would give the quarters a miracle if going to city council wasn’t such a headacheHey God, it's me, the Quarters again, asking for a miracle....
Have you seen Beverly Hills, Malibu, or other super rich parts of Los Angeles? They have homeless people squatting right outside their super mansions' gate. Consider this extraordinarily civilized.Sorry, remind me again why we try to build nice things in crap areas?
I'm not immune to it, but I have accepted this as I'm expecting worse to come...I have indeed! But it irks the crap out of me when I see this…..I’m glad you’re immune but I’m not.
Is that the Mac's outdoor area that you speak of? Can't really think of any other hotels Downtown with large outdoor garden areas.I suspect this will get cleaned up sooner or later, but yes you have to pay close attention to the outside of your property as well as the inside, particularly in an area like this.
On a related note, my personal pet peeve is a nice hotel down the street from me downtown, which had at one time a great garden that has devolved into a weed pit this year.
I have noticed over the years, there is an odd Edmonton tendency to pay great attention to the inside but ignore the outside of properties which seems different from other places.
Nope, further west - think 107 Street. Is that the Mac's outdoor area that you speak of? Can't really think of any other hotels Downtown with large outdoor garden areas.
