Isn’t the 2 tower proposal in the little chunk of land beside the bus breezeway and the Arby’s? This looks like it is the entire quarter section……
For some reason the plot&zoning maps for mwtc is one giant block and isn't subdivided (all lot 3 block 6). If they have a specific location in mind, I can't tell which.
According to https://envisionmwtc.ca/ which seems to be the public engagement of the developer it's planned for the top right of it.

Google Maps image of “Area D” for reference.

Please bring on the 75m buildings and away with the parking lots. 🙏

If people don’t think density belongs here… idk what they expect. SFHs to red deer is the only acceptable option I guess.
Millwoods - of all places is saying "too tall," that's rich. Most of the residents of Millwoods don't know the history of it. The fact that was dirt cheap land in an era of 24% mortgage rates and that most of the "older" parts were built with "sweat equity," of the owners. In a time of ZERO show homes and Jimmy-rigged construction methods and piss poor planning....etc etc....

Some of the people who live in areas like this seem to have a very irrational fear of taller buildings even though there are a few, although not a lot, already in Millwoods.
