I used to frequent -- daily -- their outlet on Whyte Avenue. They had the best flapjacks. Because of the frequency of my visits, I got to know Albert personally (I suspect he has long since passed on). He put his heart and soul into that place and, although its interior and exterior design were nothing to write home about, the personal ambiance created by Albert and his staff were unmatchable. Sorry to hear that that era may be ending.I am hearing rumors that Alberts family restaurants will be closing multiple locations, they have 7 restaurants in Alberta
