^ second pic is a very unique angle, I'm not sure I've seen a skyline pic from that angle before, certainly not an aerial one.
I think this is often our most “majestic” angle. Lots of good drone footage on IG of this angle. Fall, summer, winter…all look incredible with the forest vs towers contrast.View attachment 536024
Apologies for the blurry photo, it's difficult to take a good picture from the top of a moving bus but I think this is a great and underrated view of the skyline. Taken from the Mill Creek Bridge. The city appears to be rising from the forest.
This seems to generally be the case for Canadian Cities as opposed to American Cities.I feel like what gets lost in all the discussion about towers not getting built or being cancelled is the fact that if you compare Edmonton to the other 1-3 million population metros in North America, our skyline punches way above its weight class, and our volume of high rise housing in the core is way above a lot of American cities with 2 or 3 times our population.
