Great angle. Shows the long-lasting impact of the municipal airport overlay that capped the height of buildings in large parts of downtown near the flight paths. Only a few new constructions have pierced the now-defunct overlay.

Even though they're non-descript glass boxes, I really quite like Stantec Tower and the JW Marriott—or specifically, I love the way they reflect sunrises and sunsets.

^ Nice drone shot -- we are seldom treated to a view of downtown from this angle 
overlooking the nearly forgotten Dawson Bridge and Riverdale. The Hat at 5-Corners doesn't look nearly so lonely from this angle. I am guessing this photo is a few years old as it lacks the new Qualico Building on the right edge of downtown.

Controversial opinion: I like this view better than the one from Saskatchewan Drive. it gives more prominence to the other tallest buildings in the city and makes it look denser, imo.

That is a hot take. I think the view from the north looking south with Rogers Place is the best of all.
Second thought: no this is a close second. Best is from the south.
