From today, all the siding finally up.

Props to the developer for pushing hard to get this built despite the high inflation and interest rates environment--new multifamily projects are critically needed for this area (and for Edmonton's overall affordability).

That said, good lord what a value engineered abomination. Just awful. Looks terrible now; imagine what it looks like in 10 years. I wish that within their VE decision making was to not use more colour to compensate for the removal of architecturally significant elements (i.e. main floor retail podium, balconies). Such an unbelievable far cry from what they originally proposed.
