What do you see that I don't.I completely forgot about this plaza redevelopment. Looking good.

Let alone anyone with dementia - its rather a jumble of tile and brick flooring. Anyone know what is the primary use for this plaza? As a care giver its quite the trip when moving a wheelchair around that area.
Everything has been slow.Still amazed on how slow it's been going.
For people to use and enjoy.Let alone anyone with dementia - its rather a jumble of tile and brick flooring. Anyone know what is the primary use for this plaza?

If you are in the Library you cant miss this space, its extremely visible and accessible. It is also visible if you are on foot from various angles. I do take your note that it’s hard to see from your car, but its not for cars so who cares. It's a secondary events and civic space, except it never gets much use. Most people forget it's even there since it's hidden by entrances to the parkade.
In an ideal world it would have been situated in front of the library to complement and extend Churchill Square, and I think there was a missed opportunity with the library rebuild to re-examine the layout of the site.
What, not a fan of the neon flowers? The best part of all of this might be the improved parkade entrances.
Yup, some colour is very welcome and quite common in Asian urban spaces for sure. I think the 'humps' that kids are supposed to play on will be multi-coloured as well.Getting mild Singapore mixed with Tokyo vibes from this. I like it.
But they did not update the elevators. The best part of all of this might be the improved parkade entrances.
Kind of like how the elevators and escalators inside the library were not replaced during the major renovation either - cost savings. But they did not update the elevators.
