For those who are interested in floor counts -- Stantec is on the 28th floor -- next one up is the final office floor; Marriott is on the 29th floor, well over half way to the top.

Stantec will be topped off on Monday, May 21, 2018; Marriott will be topped off on Monday, January 29, 2018. Stantec offices will be open on October 1st, 2018; the Marriott Hotel will be open on June 1st, 2018. Marriott residences will be ready for occupancy by September 1, 2018; Stantec residences will be ready for occupancy January 1, 2019. These are my best guesses (I might be off by a week or two in each instance).

On the Time Lapse camera, it looks like a steel structure is being erected on the current top level of Stantec. I'm not clear what it's purpose is, but I'm guessing it signals they're on or about to begin the transfer slab.

@Daveography, I am quite certain that they are a series of cross-braced steel moment frames that will transfer loads from the slab above to the column alignment below. This frame will occur only under the condominium portion of the floors above -- regular reinforced concrete columns (which are also visible) will terminate at the partial roof slab.

@archited I thought they might be temporary supporting structures for forming the raft slab, but looking closer at the structural diagrams (https://edmonton.skyrisecities.com/...-properties-stantec.23658/page-2#post-1058434), it does appear to show some angled steel structures transferring load to the outside columns.

July 28 - podium cladding mostly done; an awning has appeared over the 103 Ave entrance. More steel going up for the load transfer. Sky Residences sales centre is almost open.
