The mechanical on those new mid-rises stands out far too much. What on earth did they need that much mechanical space for? Ugly.

I saw it in person and I for one think that they are actually quite well done. They creates a 'gate' into the Parkway Forest area. And the material of the exterior is very appropriate. Overall a high quality rental buildings. The real eyesores is the Fairview Mall parking arcade. It's totally anti urbanism. They really need to dig down for parking space and build a condo above the mall.

Certainly a great street-level presence for Don Mills and Sheppard. It's difficult for anyone to argue against a subway line begetting density.
