I love how they put 'roundabout' in quotes like it's a completely unfamiliar word. But what is 'acting as a motorist' for cyclists? Is that like being an actual road vehicle as the HTA recognizes it? As opposed to riding on the sidewalk?

We seem to have lost the topic of this thread, but anyway...

When a cyclist approaches a roundabout without cycle facilities, they have two options: acting as a motorist or as a pedestrian. Acting like a motorist involves doing whatever a car would do (including taking the whole lane). The document was simply telling readers to see the motorist section for instructions. Acting like a pedestrian is also self-explanatory.

I think it was a little unclear for them to simply throw 'acting as a motorist' in there without explaining it or describing it as riding on the road, taking the lane, etc., if roundabouts are generally not familiar.

To get back on topic, uh, the roundabout at Square One appears to have NA yield signs and yellow diamonds as warnings.
