In the early days of the automobile electric vehicles out numbered gasoline ones.
If you notice the drive chain on the right rear wheel, it appears to connect to the electric drive motor.
Not an uncommon setup back then.

That's the Kodak store where I graduated from my first, simple "box camera."
I bought my first 35 mm film camera there in 1948.
I still have it (sans leather covering), now painted blue but still operational.
