Last year there were some chicks dressed up as superheroines... using body paint. ONLY body paint. I managed to take some nice pics

I also liked questioning one of the guys dressed up as a storm trooper why he felt the need to pay homage to what is essentially a Fascist organization (The Empire).

Basically if you're a geek/nerd and have never had the "comic-con" experience before, it's worth going to at least once. Once you've already been once then you can just check the schedule and see if there's any events related to the stuff that you're a "fan" of.
