Went by and saw they are already doing demo work on the old Don'ya and next to it the former Alberta Seniors spaces. This is fast, Don'ya only moved several days ago.

Confirmed: Don'ya is moving into the space west of Shoppers. It once housed a bubble tea place and a travel agency before that.

Yes, it is there now in the old travel agency space and there is an entrance from the lobby. The new space looks nice.

I believe it has already been re-opened for a few days, this is just a celebration. Could be wrong. Before they tarped up the windows on their old space you could see it had been already completely demolished.

To operate Food and Drink Services (food hall, restaurant, cafe), Bar, Minor Indoor Entertainment (event space), Indoor Sales and Service, and Nightclub and to construct alterations to a non-Residential building including a 147m2 addition on the north side and 61.5m2 addition on the west side of the Ground Floor; a 41m2 addition on the north side of the mezzanine and partial demolition of the existing second floor mezzanine, development of a 148m2 outdoor Amenity Area on the ground level, alteration of the Parkade air intakes; a 126m2 addition on the second floor, to change the Use of a portion of the third floor to a Child Care Service for up to 250 children and construct minor alterations to the patio for an outdoor playspace, and to construct interior alterations, The Standard.

The demolition of the two sets of stairs on the west side of the old food area near the entrance looks to be almost done. Lot of concrete there, it must have been quite the job to take them out.
