From the Urban Development thread (although, maybe it is more appropriate there?...)
Here is a link to the DP: https://developmentmap.calgary.ca/#property/DP2018-0968
Tiny parcel for 70 units. This parcel had a pretty unique proposal from Sturgess Architecture about 10-12 years ago. 18 storeys, 18 units, in what was supposed to be a very high end building.

The above DP is for Amble Ventures and is for 137 units. They also have a project planned for 524 14th Ave SW. That one is supposed to be 200 units. Amble did the rental project called 1215.

Nice to see the confidence in Calgary. SurrealPlaces previously described the one at 524 14th Ave SW as looking similar to Hat East Village (another NORR project). I bet this one would be similar. Nothing earth shattering, but not bad either.

I hope we can eventually get to the Telus Convention Center by +15. I think our hope for that may be a future development at the Bow Tower south lot.

Speaking of the convention centre, has there been any talk over the last year or two at the city about a new convention centre? Ours is woefully inadequate, and the BMO Centre is embarrassingly "western." Hoping for a decent proposal soon.
