Going back on street view, it's been this way since at least 2012. There was a DP sign on it last year for multifamily but obviously nothing has happened.

Right now there is a land use application for the site, and it looks to be recent as it's not even showing as under review yet. The applicants are looking for an increase in height from 10m, to 11m. Likely looking for three levels.

They are also asking for a max of 7 units, up from the current max of 2 units.

I've driven by that a million times and never seen it before, looks like a reno that was abandoned mid way through.

There's a similar half-finished / half-abandoned house on 8th Street SW just south of 17 Ave SW. The tarp on the second floor balcony has been there since at least 2009 according to Streetview.

I don't remember much about the project, but I recall Drug Farrell saying it was slated to be an affordable housing development.

They’re still dropping a lot of money inside of Len Werry, we’ve had guys in there decommissioning a bunch of the old data room cooling equipment and installing new stuff. Would be nice to see the exterior updated though for sure.

Len Werry used to have a large analog telephone switch and equipment to support a large microwave transmission tower. I wouldn't be surprised at large amounts of bulky old equipment and large amounts of cabling still being there
