It almost looks like it's half burned down or partially abandoned.

Right now there is a land use application for the site, and it looks to be recent as it's not even showing as under review yet. The applicants are looking for an increase in height from 10m, to 11m. Likely looking for three levels.Does anyone know the story behind the half finished house on the 14th Street hill by SAIT?

Going back on street view, it's been this way since at least 2012. There was a DP sign on it last year for multifamily but obviously nothing has happened.Google Maps

This gave me a laugh.I don't remember much about the project, but I recall Drug Farrell saying it was slated to be an affordable housing development.
Len Werry used to have a large analog telephone switch and equipment to support a large microwave transmission tower. I wouldn't be surprised at large amounts of bulky old equipment and large amounts of cabling still being thereThey’re still dropping a lot of money inside of Len Werry, we’ve had guys in there decommissioning a bunch of the old data room cooling equipment and installing new stuff. Would be nice to see the exterior updated though for sure.
I saw them putting up those walls, I'm like 90% Sure those brick walls are prefabricated.Wow, that brick went up fast!
Wonder if it's a veneer brick maybe, can't imagine tilt up panels would be easy with actual bricks...I saw them putting up those walls, I'm like 90% Sure those brick walls are prefabricated.
