Wait, doesn't that make it exactly like our CBD?Unfortunate that all the mid rise stuff in seton is surrounded by mega-wide roads and parking lots. Ostensibly it was supposed to be a sort of “downtown” but it could not be further from that
The coffee shop that has this patio opened this week. They said they have a permit to get the patio winterized. Had heaters going as well.New addition to Elizabeth Square. You can see the care they put into the finishing touches. I'll take 100 of these over any high rise.

It is a "missing middle" application similar to some of the others we've seen along 20th. They had a billboard up for a while showing the renders and if I recall correctly it's similar in size, scale and design to the one going up across from the Scandinavian Centre at 20th and 7th.It looks like some sort of project is starting up at 20th Ave and 2nd St.NW. I thought I saw a soil sample rig and it looks to be demolition starting. Does anybody know what’s proposed for that location?
Nothing flashy, but decent density boost, with 3 houses turning into 12 units. It looks like some sort of project is starting up at 20th Ave and 2nd St.NW. I thought I saw a soil sample rig and it looks to be demolition starting. Does anybody know what’s proposed for that location?
I'm sorry to say that you are going to be dissapointed with the final outocme. They are building an outdoor play area elevated above the parking lot but you will still have surface parking. That Montessori school development at Macleod and 14th is building a whole new structure. Footings (or whatever they're called) are above grade. Another surface lot bites the dust
Let's pretend it will be like platform and converted to another use later. You know, when we're all transported around by the Tesla taxi.I'm sorry to say that you are going to be dissapointed with the final outocme. They are building an outdoor play area elevated above the parking lot but you will still have surface parking.
Are they enclosing the parking at least? or will it be open air?I'm sorry to say that you are going to be dissapointed with the final outocme. They are building an outdoor play area elevated above the parking lot but you will still have surface parking.
Open air, the mezz that they are building will cover about 3/4 of the current parking lot. The side against the neighbouring property is closed in with block wall but the front is simply gated. Are they enclosing the parking at least? or will it be open air?
