LOC2025-0196

Proposed land use district
Multi-Residential - High Density Low Rise District (M-H1)
Description
This application proposes to change the designation of these properties to allow for:
multi-residential buildings (e.g. apartment buildings that may have commercial storefronts);
a maximum building height of 26 metres, about 6 - 8 storeys (an increase from the current maximum of 16 metres);
the uses listed in the proposed M-H1 district.

The only downer is this looks like a cheap little apartment.

Not sure how I feel about all those little paving stones. Will need to see a fully completed block all cleaned up to pass judgement. As of now, I think it looks shitty. I would have preferred larger paving stones.

Aside from aesthetics, are these bricks supposed to be better for drainage? I remember reading they did some new type of brickwork in the Marda Loop area to help with drainage.

Former Smart Technologies Building next to the Brentwood LRT station: I believe this building is a gym for the charter schools now in the building.

There is a construction fencing around some houses at 17th avenue and 23 street in the southwest by Killarney neighborhood. There is a picture of a building, probably 6 floors but I couldn’t take a photo of it. Maybe the building will be built soon.
