124th will probably ebb upwards as the area gets more people and densifies. VLW will probably give it a massive boost too probably.

Did Lloyd Sadd move away? Their website still shows 10240 124 Street as the Edmonton office.124th has definitely had some wind taken out of its sails the past year or so after gaining so much momentum over the last few years. Losing all the office workers from AHS/Telus in Plaza 124 + Lloyd Sadd likely has been hurting some daytime businesses there

Definitely needs a lot more density along it to help. The western edge drops off so quickly with the valley/groat, and low density neighborhoods. Wihkwentowin helps, but it’s got lots of stuff in all directions.When I worked at Western Cycle the area felt far more dead. I think we're forgetting how bad 124th used to be, and how laughable the idea of it being a mini Whyte was.
124th will have much better transit access than Whyte soon. I don't think that's something to be proud of, though. ???
Definitely is NOT cheap but they are introducing a Late night HH, which my kid who works at Pyro said they "would never do."Went to ORO and LOCO on Sat. Very much enjoyed it. Staff were great and attentive. Food was excellent. The room itself was open yet intimate. Starters mains and dessert plus 4-9oz glasses of wine came to just over 200.00
The Pizza bar was also quite busy and looked like the place to be. Very open and airy. Be interesting to see what they do at the other locations.

Btw, I am a little miffed that she has to pay out 9.5% grat to the house, no matter what her sales are. So for example, if she grosses 15% on the shift, she only keeps 5.5%. Is that what the house gets now? When I ran restaurants back in the day - the house got 4% I think.
