Verve on 100 Ave has been replaced by El Taco Loco. I've never seen anyone eating in any of the restaurants occupying that location.

It's their 2nd location, the 1st one is in Spruce Grove.
The menu looks good, although I'm concerned about the minimal drinks selection.

There were a couple of spots that worked likely due to long-standing local (older) customers, but those sadly fade.
I could see something like ElTL working given the changing demo.

Shiddy’s Flat Boy Burgers is coming to Beaumont….not sure where….the Sea Change location?

Yes since its part of the Sea Change sphere. We finally got to Flat boy. It was OK. Not the spectacular I was told from others. But thats just me. few Burgers are spectacular.

Izakaya Tomo a few nights ago now; not for everyone, but we certainly enjoyed it. The standout was the daikon hamachi in ponzu, but all were tasty and my last meal before the plague hit (unrelated).
