There’s some work going on in the unit next to Fawke’s downtown that makes me think they may be expanding. 10:30am and the line is almost to the door and every table taken.

^it's been going on for months and from what I have seen, it looks like they are getting it ready for another potential tenant.

I'd love a bakery in there to compliment things.

On the banner (maybe not readable here) it says interviews will be held at O2's "next door," so I assumed O2's was still there and staying operational. I have to assume they're affiliated somehow?

They must be affiliated. The owner must be a big Scrabble fan - you have O2’s hoarding "O"s like they’re going out of style, while EMRLD is stuck trying to buy a vowel.

Same owner as the O2’s (who is the same owner as Spotlight Cabaret, just off whyte ave) which is just gonna be downsized. This is supposed to be a pretty upscale cocktail bar. The name is lame but I think this may end up being a pretty cool spot.

O2 has moved to the rear of the old space with an enterance off 111 st.reno looks nice from the outside. The front of their old space is becoming EMRLD
