Anyone know what / who is building on 5497 Manotick Main St.? Just a large plot of land, dug up with a city proposal sign, but no details on company.

New 40 storey by Brigil coming to Tunney's. Per Leiper's newsletter.

"The City has received an application for a big development at 131 and 139 Parkdale, and 122 Forward Avenue. The proposal is for a 40-storey high-rise and six-storey mid-rise with retail, with 429 apartments and 207 parking spaces. There would be a pedestrian bridge at the sixth storey above the lane connecting the two buildings. I've only received the heads-up and the application material is not yet available, but when it is it will go on the City's development application site here. My office will arrange an online open house, the details of which will I'll publicize in a future newsletter."

Also a four-storey at 133 Forward.

"The City has received an application for a site plan to develop 133 Forward with a four-storey low-rise apartment building containing 18 dwelling units, one parking space, 18 bike parking spaces and a rooftop amenity. As I write, the materials are not available to view or comment on. I'll have that link to the application on the City's development application page when it's available in a future newsletter. At the site plan stage, staff will be considering the technical aspects of the project and its configuration."

I had a feeling that small lot would end up with something bigger than the previous proposal, but I didn't factor in the demolition of the small tower on the corner. Great spot for a 40s tower.

That linear Parkdale skyline viewed from Zibi or Kiweiki point will get another notch in its belt if so.
