It's going to be the extra trains that have been discussed in this thread, what else could it be?

Massive schedule changes effective June 25th:

Maybe the announcement is "bigger" than usual given the Premier is attending.
Strangely, the Barrie line weekend train service from June 25-Sept 5 is not listed on that page but it is indeed reinstated this summer, per the schedule finder set to weekends in that date range. Same service as last summer, 4 southbound+4 northbound trains serving all stops, seems like the same times I remember from last year. Hopefully it's permanent--seems a logical step towards the rumored ~April 2017 hourly AD2W.
I expected the Kitchener extra trains, but the CN news tidbit is an intriguing add-on. One wonders if it's a regular "Metrolinx funding an additional track in CN corridor" being spun into a CN positive as if they're doing something noble -- but regardless, more tracks, and efficient juggling of which trains use which corridor -- moving towards all-day Brampton and Kitchener GO train service.570 News Kitchener is reporting on Twitter that two more peak trains a day, each way, between Union Station and Kitchener will commence in September, and that CN will be building a new freight line to "free up lines for GO train service in Kitchener"
Whether this means a new rail corridor, or just additional track, we don't know yet. Might be interesting.
