Actually I should have said frosted/fritted - the latter is probably more likely?

Thanks AoD, that sounds very cool (I hadn't caught on to the use of frosted glass in the renderings).

I caught some shots of the roof on my way to the airport and noticed that the glazing is on an angle and open ended.
This was done to allow for ventilation through the atrium. About the only way that rain water will get to the platforms is in a hurricane.

Is the angle steep enough to prevent the accumulation of snow? It looks to be about a 45 degree angle. Dry snow will probably slide off it, but I can see it potentially having a problem with wet snow.
