Oh the ones on the side are supposed to be transparent - I don't think any of the cladding for the box where the trusses are is up yet, is it? I haven't been there in person so I don't know if they had put that up as well.

Had no time to get to the station, but got this shot showing the glazing being place on the east end last night

I caught some shots of the roof on my way to the airport and noticed that the glazing is on an angle and open ended.

As I was sitting in the Glasgow Terminal on June 22, I did some photo shooting as well video and it show what is missing from both the existing Union Station and the revised one. What I shot was on a dull raining day.

I don't know at this time if there were more tracks and were longer than what there now, but the platforms are twice as wide as Union.

More up on the site for both places once I finish uploading the rest of Glasgow from the other camera.

I just missed you; I just got back from Scotland 10 days ago. Glasgow is a beautiful city. I loved how they incorporated all those shops into the train station underpass.

This was done to allow for ventilation through the atrium. About the only way that rain water will get to the platforms is in a hurricane.

Is the angle steep enough to prevent the accumulation of snow? It looks to be about a 45 degree angle. Dry snow will probably slide off it, but I can see it potentially having a problem with wet snow.

I'll have to check with my friend, but I believe that the plan was that the glass would be coated to prevent accumulation.
