The final part of my HK photo tour is of the New Territories and Islands. I didn't dedicate much time to check out these parts of the city, which is why I missed out many important New Towns such as Shatin, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, etc.
On my ride into the city after initial arrival.
What a beast.
Tsing Yi Island
On my ferry ride to Cheung Chau for the first time.
Cheung Po Tsai Cave. Hideout for famous pirate in the 1800's.
Another famous spot on the island is the Reclining Rock.
Beach at the southside of the island. Looks completely empty here because it was in February (15 degrees or so)
The vacation houses along the coast are available for rent during summer. Must be so much fun exploring the island and vacationing here overnight.
The narrow pedestrian streets in Cheung Chau are filled with just about everything you would need to live a simple life here.
I checked out Tseung Kwan O to visit one of my father's friends.
New developments, including a new hotel tower above the MTR station.
Tseung Kwan O sports stadium.
I believe the development background (far right) is LOHAS Park.
Hang Hau MTR station area.
More to come, including Sai Kung, Tsuen Wan, etc.
